Special opening this Family Day Monday!
Canada’s railways moved people, food, and goods before there were roads. Early trains had little comfort and no food service; so you brought your own. With dining cars came comfort and meals on elegant place settings.
On Family Day, come see train menus and railway china, do a craft or two, and take home a recipe for the classic Railway Cake (Five Roses’ 1915 cookbook). #BCHeritageWeek
